Japanese embassy in Russia honours Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre

(20 Nov 2018) The Japanese embassy in Moscow held a ceremony to present the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center with an honorary certificate from the Japanese Foreign Minister on Tuesday. The certificate was presented by Japanese ambassador to Russia Toyohisa Kozuki to former chief test pilot of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, Pavel Vlasov. JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Koichi Wakata also attended the event, among others. The event was timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the International Space Station.
