Part of the charm for me was that I grew up visiting the place, and had fond memories of it. As this was a special event, they brought in speakers from Image Engine to talk about some of the special effects work they did on Jurassic World - which was the highlight of the evening. They also had some fun little science demos. All of the hands on exhibits were open too, and without kids around, one was able to fool around with them for probably more time than they'd normally be able to. Alcohol was available for purchase at relatively reasonable rates. If you haven't been to an after-dark event at Science World, and have a bit of an inner child, or find the guest speaker they have presenting interesting, you should go.
