His first recommendation is one of the most romantic natural beauties in the region,the Marienschlucht,a deep ravine on the steep lake shore. There is a path between the 30-meter-high cliffs winds its way towards the lake. The 26-year-old sailing instructor's second recommendation is the ruins of Hohentwiel fortress atop the rock formation of the same name,one of the extinct volcanoes in the Hegau region on Lake Constance.
