Did you know you have an automatic calculation feature in Excel?  When you select a range of cells with values it can sum, average or count those values.  And you don't even have to write any formulas.  This makes it much easier for the inner sloth in us to not type more stuff in the cells than we need.  I personally love this feature because I can do a quick addition of numbers or count rather than bust out the SUM or COUNT functions.  It makes life so more more easier and the only other thing I'd want more from Excel is for it to make my coffee. BUT this auto-calculate is not a feature that is auto turned on!  You may need to just toggle the switch to turn it on.  Fear not...it's quite easy.
