The Mario Cuomo Bridge (Interstates 87/287) is a dual-span cable stayed bridge across the Hudson River north of New York City along the New York State Thruway. Opened to traffic on August 26, 2017, it measures three miles long in all, with a central cable-stayed signature main span of 1,200 ft.
