We are trackside on the NS Pocahontas division at Maybeury West Virginia as we watch a Sperry Rail car pass us at speed. These powered railcars have a unique sound, and at one time severed as a doodlebug for some railroad in earlier years. The Sperry #139 was original owned by the C&NW as #300890, and went into service for Sperry in May of 1972. It is currently out of service in St Louis. Was trying to do research on the C&NW 300890, but came up empty handed. Thanks for watching... All parts of this video and trademark are protected.
