Candidate launch campaigns for DRC December 2018 polls

Candidates have launched their campaigns for the December 23rd election in the Democratic Republic of Congo that could usher in the first democratic transfer of power in that SADC-member country. Its leader President Joseph Kabila, is backing his former interior minister Emmanuel Shadary in the presidential race. The incumbent has been in power since his father's assassination in 2001. To try and understand the candidates in the DRC elections, we invited Dr Mello Kim-wana Na-kay-ya, a senior advisor of the U.D.P.S opposition PARTY in the DRC, whose leader is Felix Tshisekedi. We also had Bruno Ka-tumpa the Chairman of the Congolese Leaders Forum who is a Martin Fa-you-lu supporter.
