this was the whole scha-bang: raw oysters-on-the-half-shell, oyster soup, lump crabcake sandwich & a bucket of beer...and i ate every last bit of it...then drove a drowsy drive back to new york city. Pauline sponsored my fat-assery, once again, playing patron to my gorge-a-thon....but it's to be considered that i took her to a CrackerBarrel on the way down for her first time ever! the waitress hated me and literally ignored me, and eventually took to communicating w/ me through Pauline...what can i say? i'm a charmer...
