Today's homestead tour looks at the annual vegetable garden, the ducks and chickens. About Us. I share my home with my loving partner, Mr J and our two cats. We are a fifty-something couple who live on a small homestead in Monmouthshire, Wales. We are creating a gentler, cleaner and more healthy life for our family. We keep hybrid chickens and also have breeding flocks of Cream Legbar, Jersey Giant, Light Sussex and Australorp chickens and Aylesbury ducks and have an organic kitchen garden and young food forest in which to grown our fruit and vegetables. I'm currently exploring permaculture as a way of life.
