In this video I will show you how I do a basic filter change and a periodic cleaning of my Bio sponge. In a H.O.B. filter (HOB Hang On Back) you will occasionally have to gently clean the Biosponge so that water can flow freely through it. It's important not to disrupt too much of the bacterial colonies, since this is where the most Nitrifying Bacteria in your Fish Tank lives.
