Tried to record IR video in day time by using IR filter & ND 400 filter on the Sony HDR CX700E camcorder. The camcorder cannot record IR video in day time without a filter because it is too bright to record anything & may cause damage/malfunction as stated in the manual. Notice there is quite a bit of noise in the video, even in brighter condition; The original IR video does have noise in it but doesn't look this bad in Youtube where large chunk of digital artifacts appearing everywhere.

The 30 mins video was sped up 60 times during the edit to make a 31 secs time lapse video. The typical greenish look was converted to Black & White by sliding the Saturation level to zero. A little warm color was added in the edit.

Original file size was 1.1 GB file, recorded in Long Play format (highest compressed file size in the camcorder). Converted file size is 82.3 MB, in WMV video format.
