Custom features such as phosphate dry-film coating, Grafal anti-friction skirt coating, and hard anodized top ring grooves are now offered off the shelf thanks to MAHLE Motorsports. The advanced geometry of the bore and pin profiles, along with the Slipper Skirt design which combines light weight and extreme strength, really set these piston and ring packages apart. Applications are available from late model LS and Coyote engines to more traditional plaforms like the small-block Chevy.
