When I was a sophomore in college, I took a class called Filipino-American Literature. For our final assignment, I traveled to Chicago and compiled an oral history featuring some of my aunts and uncles. If I recall correctly, I got a good grade on this, but it definitely shows that shooting, editing, and sound aren't really my strong suits. Good thing I'm a writer! Anyway, even though it's not the best representation of my work, this video is still worth sharing because of the stories contained in it, especially the ones from my uncle Norman Longid, who passed away this week. Finding this and rewatching it helps me remember Tito Norm fondly during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
