I had to try a few different emulators in order to get one that would record cheats. Jnes was what I settled for. Without the moon jump you can't do this.

And yes I have a bunch of other cheats on. Max stats/all spells. This is because I couldn't port my Nestopia and VirtuaNES saves to Jnes. These cheats have no effect on the glitch shown in the video. It works in every emulator that I've tried. And i'm assuming it will also work on a real cart. The only retail version I currently own is on Gamecube. I don't have any cheat devices for that console.

I'm sure that this weird glitch has been seen before. The game's almost 30 years old. But it's always nice to have extras.

To do this you need the following Game Genie code
Moon jump: AAUOLIAL

After you've set the code just hold the jump button until you disappear through the top of the screen. Then activate the fairy spell. You'll see the falling animation. When you drop back into the Palace the battle screen music will be playing. If you leave it will still play. The only way to right it is to enter any area other than the North Palace. If you get into a battle the music will be correct once you exit the screen.

Sorry about how ugly it looks on the world map. It seems that every time I capture NES movies I get ugliness. even though they look fine when I preview them before upload. Doesn't matter what compression I use. Maybe there's something I can fiddle around with that will fix that.
