2 speed transistor model from the "famous Dansette" company featuring the "staar" record deck, This model is in olive green rexine and grey fabic ( also used on the dansette challange speaker cloth ) For a battery model this has the out-put as high as the standard electric players of the time, the cartridge is a acos GP79 stylus, and also features a tone control, NOW the downside... the decks have one drawback, the turntable werent man enough for LP'S resulting in first tracks playing slow, in some cases unable to play, a handy tip is under the cartridge theres a metal weight and also in the pick up arm, remove both this will make the pick - up lighter , also clean the inside of the turntable and use a bit of fine sandpaper , this will let the idler wheel grip better. As far as i know this model was only released in the Olvie green and a burgandy pink finish. check out Dansette Princess
