Living with multiple identities is a balance we all face. Tamanaia Jaffri explores the specific daily balance that multi-lingual speakers live with. Historically viewed as a key skill, multi-lingual-ism has recently come under attack, in social and political environments.  In her talk, Lagom.  Tawazun. Balance.¸ Tamania reminds us of the value of multi-lingual-ism, and reclaiming identity.  Tamania blogs about her multicultural Canadian-Pakistani family on her internationally recognized blog, UrduMom.com. Tamania shares resources to teach Urdu to children, while also addressing parenting, recipes, travel, and lifestyle. Tamania's blog has been featured on BBC (Urdu), BBC (Hindi), OMNI TV (Canada), CTV News (Alberta Primetime), Metro News (Calgary) and other media outlets. For Tamania, lagom is finding balance in the diversity that exists within ourselves and communities.
