Does anybody remember the video by nhlives at Scarborough where he and I were waiting for D&H 417, and just as it was coming in, a set of M7's came in and ruined the video for him? Well, that almost happened to me here. We're in Tarrytown, waiting for D&H Train 417, the northbound freight from Fresh Pond Yard to Kenwood Yard. Two trains come down the road right next to eachother. One was 417 and the other was Metro North Train 775, the semi express from Grand Central Terminal to Croton-Harmon. As 775 pulled into the station, I had a flashback to nhlives and the M7's at Scarborough. I could almost hear him yell "Get on the bridge!" as I scrambled to try to get to the other side. However, 417 was bearing down on the station, so i had no choice but to shoot from the stairs. This is what I got. Here, we see SD40-2's 5671 on the point with 5690 trailing and a tiny three car train. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome.
