A sessions court in Nampllay has ordered that the Makdee actress Shweta Basu Prasad be released from the rescue home, where she was taken after her arrest by the Hyderabad police . According to reports, the actress has been allowed to stay with her family in Mumbai. Initially, a lower court had ordered that Prasad to stay in a rescue home for six months, however her mother had challenged the order in sessions court and finally got her daughter out. The actress was arrested last month by the Hyderabad police on charges of prostitution. Reportedly, she was "caught in a compromising position" when the cops raided a famous hotel at the upscale Banjara Hills in the city.
