If you want to see how a Windows looked like 20 years ago, or if you have some old software or games, you will stumble over DOSBOX somehow. If you need to open some old documents and all you have is an old version of WordPro (or something like that) you might need an old Windows 3.1 (or 3.11). Maybe some accounting software where you have to look in the books or an old DOS classic where you only have the files, but the damn thing wont start under a modern OS? 
In this video i will show you how to use Windows 3.1 in a DOSBOX, so you have an OS for your old office software or a GUI to start your DOS games!

make sure that you have all the needed licenses and are allowed to use the software you intend to use.
