Full review at http://www.redferret.net/?p=49903 . The HomeMonitor HD Pro security camera is a new camera from the Y-Cam company. It features 720p image resolution, free 7 days online video storage and a super easy set up and install. 

We found the camera to be very well built indeed, with very little plastic in evidence, just a tough weatherproofed camera housing and mount. The installation is done via the online portal, but it's very quick, and once you've gone through the 5 simple steps to set up your wireless connection, you just have to mount the camera to a wall with the included fittings, and you're good to go.

We liked the image quality and the infra-red night vision, which means you should be able to grab video clips which are actually worth watching. The free online storage is also great, although prospective buyers should note that the camera has no internal storage, so you'll need an Internet connection of some sort. 

All in all, a nice little product, and one that deserves serious attention if you're in the market for a DIY home or small business security camera.
