In 2007 the area was designated a UNESCO Global Geopark because of its geological significance and biodiversity. Look out for the following in Jamie's drone footage:
• Pristine Mangroves
• White-sand beaches
• Tidal flats
• Caves
• Lakes
• Natural harbours
These are some of the animals we have seen in and around the sub-tropical rainforest jungle and limestone karsts:
• Brahminy kites
• White-bellied sea eagles
• Hornbills
• Spectacled Langurs
• Macaques
• Monitor lizards
• Flying squirrels
• Cobras (among other snakes)
• Brown-winged kingfisher
