Linda Sparrowe joins us at Wanderlust Festival in Stratton, VT to discuss the Power of Yoga To Heal.  It's well known by now that yoga can alleviate back pain, ease depression, and bolster the immune system. But yoga's ability to heal goes beyond the physical; it can lead us home to ourselves, transform our relationship with our bodies and hearts, and move us to greater mental and emotional health as well.

Linda Sparrowe has written numerous articles on women's health, yoga, herbs, and complementary medicine. She is the former managing editor of and long-time contributor to Yoga Journal; contributing editor to Yoga International; and former editor-in-chief of Natural Solutions magazine. Passionate about yoga's ability to heal ourselves, our relationships, and our communities, Linda co-leads retreats for women with cancer and women in crisis. She is the author of several books, including Yoga Journal's book Yoga, featuring the history and beauty of hatha yoga, and The Woman's Book of Yoga and Health: A Lifelong Guide to Wellness (with Patricia Walden).
