Omaha gang unit officer shot near 30th & Laurel

An officer was shot and transported from the area of 30th and Laurel streets in North Omaha, according to OPD Deputy Chief Scott Gray at a press briefing from the scene about an hour after the shooting. A suspect, an adult male, was also hurt in the shooting. Both are in stable condition, Gray said.
