2013 OCT 22: A competition entitled "The Voice of PCCI" was held on Fellowship Night during the 39th Philippine Business Conference at the Manila Hotel. The competition was among the five PCCI areas: North Luzon, National Capital, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Marc Nepomuceno, the PCCI Regional Governor for Region III was tasked by North Luzon Area Vice-President Vicky Gaetos to handle the area's entry. To facilitate rehearsals, Vicky suggested that only MACCII members be recruited since time was running out. The performers were Frankie Villanueva, Tito Lazatin, Gerry Tayag, Bing Maun Gonzales, and Marc Nepomuceno as singers; Chuck T. Gueco, Shy Lle, Ashtee C. Quiambao, and Weng David Pangilinan as dancers; and Lou Nepomuceno as the emcee. Concept (Metro Manila Pop Music Festival), musical arrangement, vocal direction, and choreography were by Mr Boron Garcia, director of the AUF Performing Arts, assisted by Ged Miranda. The following songs were performed: Hajji Alejandro's "Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika" (Frankie); Freddie Aguilar's "Anak" (Marc); Apo's "Ewan" (Tito, Marc & Gerry); Anthony Castelo's "Ng Dahil Sa Pagibig" (Gerry Tayag); and Lea Navarro's "Isang Mundo, Isang Awit" (Bing). The board of judges were Kuh Ledesma, Eric Santos, and Mrs Sergio Ortiz-Luis Jr, who unanimously awarded the First Prize to North Luzon.
