The beige peaks are made of expanding foam that was later cut to fit. I did not put the expanding foam directly. I would not recommend doing that because it expands in all directions. I have to say I really dislike working with Foamular because of the shavings get on everything. Expanding foam is even worse. This is really messy stuff
