Three people have died in a grisly road accident which occurred at Kamureito area along the Bomet Kaplong road. 19 other passengers suffered injuries and were rushed to Kaplong and Tenwek hospitals for treatment. The victims were travelling in a 14 seater matatu that was carrying 21 passengers at the time of the crash. Eyewitnesses told KTN news that one of the vehicles' tyres burst before the matatu rolled several times.
