This is Race 21, which is the Varsity Boys, White Division - Heat A from day 1 of the 2018 Woodbridge Cross Country Classic meet held September 14, 2018 at Silverlakes Sports Complex in Norco, California.  The course is 3 miles.  Host schools are Woodbridge High and Northwood High, both of Irvine, California.

Commentary:  Same 5 guys in the lead pack through 2.  Starts to spread out as they approach the soccer fields.  The initial leader, Caleb Dittmar, retakes the lead but Sam Lingwall is right on him.  Lingwall takes off just before the final turn and sprints home.  17-second Woodbridge PR for him.  First time at Woodbridge for Dittmar.  We'll see him take 2nd at Stanford in the D-5 race coming soon.  Fine team contest between Woodcrest and Washington's Enumclaw.  Woodcrest had more scorers in the middle and made the difference.
