"Just before the end of her junior semester of college, Morgan McNees went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital. A formerly perfectly healthy young adult, the complications were unexpected and the cause, unknown. In this talk, Morgan reflects on how this experience has changed her life. Morgan McNees is a recent college graduate from Cal State Long Beach, with a BA in theatre arts. She is the founder of SEEN, an L.A. based non-profit art gallery for emerging artists." About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations) Event video, projection and audio services produced by http://repertoireproductions.com/
