This is one of the most upmarket retail pedestrian streets in the city of Piraeus. Illegal African immigrants are selling fake ladies handbags in the middle of the street -broad daylight , whereas the proper shop selling the real goods is going bust unable to compete. The Greek economy is losing taxes and VAT and at the same time the authorities remain idle observers (the larger Police station of the city is only 300 yards away). The legal businesses are going bust and the domino effect spreads
