Some students from Salford University asked me this question: Why do we dream? Here is the answer I wanted to share. There are different reasons for our dreams and they come through differently, but all dreams have a purpose. 

What Types of Dreams Are There?

• Releasing Dreams
• Message Dreams
• Wishful Thinking Dreams
• Prophecy Dreams
• Lucid Dreams
• Mediumship Dreams

You can improve your ability to work with your dreams by keeping a notepad near your bed and writing down what you can remember as soon as you wake up. You’ll notice that over time you will be able to remember more and have clearer images of what you dreamt about; like any muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it becomes. 

To interpret dreams I would recommend a dream dictionary, they are good introductions to dreams and often decode some of the most common ones, which can be extremely useful in developing your psychic abilities as well. 

Speak to friends and family about your dreams and ask your guides and angels for clear messages. You can even use divination tools like the tarot and astrology to provide insights! 

If all else fails, you can also contact a dream interpreter, psychologist or psychic to give you answers to the meanings of your dreams.
