Friends had told us about their fabulous ride with Archer Airboat Tours, but they didn't describe it adequately. I discovered there are simply not enough adjectives to sufficiently describe the experience.This video will help, but will not allow you to experience the smell of the sea, the warm Florida sun, the wind in your face, the g- forces as Bobby whips the airboat around in a high speed turn. Captain Bobby Archer worked hard to show us manatee, bottle-nosed dolphin, a giant flock of white ibis, huge snook, redfish, and other fish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, calm and competent and made sure our trip was unforgettable. We explored the secluded mangrove bays and backwaters that border the beautiful waters of Pine island, Matlacha, and Charlotte Harbor.
