We are playing the newly released Alpha 14 of Rimworld, a sci-fi colony simulator (think Dwarf Fortress meets Firefly) on extreme difficulty with a custom scenario as the Darkmoon Slavers. 
While hunting for livestock (slaves) amongst the planets of the Outer Rim a ship of the infamous Darkmoon slavers has been shot down. A handful of the pirate crew together with some of their merchandise managed to get to the escape pods before their ship blew up. They crash-landed on the dark side of this godforsaken moon, left to die by their attackers.  Will they manage to escape or will they perish to the hostile elements of this moon? How will they deal with their surviving slaves - offer them freedom in exchange for cooperation, maybe even letting them join the Darkmoons? Or will they get rid of their burden, one way or another? Join me and find out!
