IT'S NOT LOCAL UNLESS IT'S YONKERS VOICE!!! Date: 06/22/17 Time of occurrence: 7:30am Where: Intersection of Ashburton Ave & Yonkers Ave A 11 year old girl was mauled by two Bull Mastif on Ashburton Ave & Yonkers Ave. Thanks to a good Samaritan that stopped the car and came in rescue and took her to a local Hospital. PO reported to the scene and were forced to shoot the two dogs killing them because they displayed aggression towards the 1st Responders. Yonkers Police Dept reports that the owner of the animals have been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
