My mate showed me a video of his band (The Donutsh) performing their new song, "When I Woke Up" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1h1wklYhEnk) and, despite not touching it for months, I felt the need to snatch up my guitar and work a riff / lick / phrase that would fit with the song. Now bear in mind I am a mediocre guitar player and badly out of practice...and I was on the way to being drunk when, after 5 minutes of improvising, I came up with this...not bad...for me!
