Bass-player Ricky Barber co-runs our HQ (Crypt Studios in North London), front man Billy Mowbray supplied the fairy lights and the band have just finished recording their exceptional debut album here. Billy is fast emerging as a significant British songwriter, effortlessly matching the unhinged intimacy and imagination of his grown-up lyrics to skewed but instantly hummable tunes.
