Huawei Mate 8 First Impressions Video : Huawei Mate 8 First Impressions Video : Huawei Mate 8 comes with a 6-inch FHD display with 2.5D curved glass. It is the first to come with the company’s Kirin 950 SoC along with an octa-core CPU and a Mali T880MP4 GPU. The Kirin 950 SoC comes with four Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores. The Mate 8 houses an i5 co-processor that offers hardware support for tasks (such as speech recognition) that do not require the phone to be awake. This may help improve the battery life of the phone. 

Huawei Mate 8  also comes with a 16MP camera at the back and in the front is an 8MP camera. The fingerprint sensor is located just below the rear camera. The phone runs EMUI 4.0 layered over Android Marshmallow v6.0 and has features like voice controls, power-saving firewall, and eRecovery. The phone is powered by a 4000mAh battery and will be available in Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver, Space Gray, and Mocha Brown colour options
