A specialist high skills major in mining program was officially launched Nov. 26 at École secondaire catholique lHorizon in Val Caron. The program will make it possible for students to personalize their high school experience and accumulate transferable skills and competences that will facilitate their entry into the job market, stated a press release from Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario, the school board which runs the school.
