Starring in Clifford Odets' The Country Girl, Martin Shaw must sometimes feel like he has stepped back in time, working on the same play, in the same theatre, for the same producer, 27 years on from when he originally played the young director's role at the Apollo. Shaw is joined on stage by Judge John Deed co-star Jenny Seagrove, and now plays the washed up actor with Seagrove his "country girl" wife. The pair are joined in the cast by Mark Letheren, Peter Harding, Nicholas Day, Luke Shaw and Thomasin Rand for the production, which is directed by Rufus Norris.
