Megabi Skate was invited to do a demo at a youth festival in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia....but they never mentioned that there was no paved ground, so...we helped them out with a demo on grass! Its difficult to even find a good piece of plywood in Ethiopia, so we did the best we could with the 2 Megabi ramps, some very thin scrap wood with holes in it, some sheet metal scraps and an old soccer post. One of the funnest sessions I ever had, the kids were so stoked and the vibe was so sick - it didn't even matter we had to skate on grass! We even had a flat ground grass sesh!
