The head office are trying to close the shelter down, because it is apparently not big enough to cope with the intake of so many animals. They are planning to relocate up north, near Manchester. So my friend has asked me to help promote the shelter, in order to keep it in Felixstowe, or that area. Hopefully, my promoting will gather enough supporters to save it from closure, and thus helping to save hundreds of animals' lives. Without the Felixstowe Blue Cross, the other two local animal shelters will not be able to cope with the extra in take of cats and dogs, as the RSPCA has reached its full capacity. We have thought of one way to help show the head office how much Felixstowe Blue Cross means to everyone. So we are asking people to take a picture of themselves holding a poster/sign/banner - reading something along the lines of "Save Felixtowe Blue Cross" - next to a famous landmark, a signpost, a flag or perhaps something relating to their country.
