페퍼톤스는 신재평과 이장원, 2인으로 구성된 밴드다. '우울증을 위한 뉴테라피 2인조 밴드'라는 타이틀로 14년 째 활동을 이어오고 있는 페퍼톤스는 그 타이틀에 맞게 청춘을 위로하고 삶을 응원하는 음악을 발표해왔다. 이러한 이유로 사람들은 페퍼톤스의 음악을 '힐링곡' 또는 '인생의 BGM'이라 부르며, 언제든 꺼내 들을 수 있는 플레이리스트에 자리해두고 있다.
