As Kenyans continue to face the reality of increased cancer cases in the country, the uap insurance has launched the critical illness insurance in a bid to lift the burden off the affected. The insurance that will see customers get paid a lump sum once diagnosed with any form of critical illness, will, according to the insurance company, seek to help the more than 39,000 diagnosed patients per year have full control of their medical and financial options unlike in the normal medical cover where money is paid to hospitals. Customers will undergo no tests before benefiting from the underrated cover.
