The final day of our motorbike trip to the D-Day beaches of Normandy. Simply titled Coming Home. I feel so emotional leaving Normandy, knowing so many did't all those years ago. The ferry crossing gives you time to really absorb the experiences of the past few days and try to put things into context...

Today we went from our hotel in Caen to the ferry... a nice trip over the waves to Portsmouth, back to the piping hot weather in the UK... so we decided to stop by Whiteways Cafe at Bury Hill near Arundel for a cold drink and an ice-cream and to see some really cool bikes too :)

relaxing ride home and tucked the amazing Zed away in the garage - what a machine..

I will do a review of this bike now I've got some mile on her, and will compare her to the 2015 model I had before... watch out for that video - I my even do some talking... lol..

The celebrations of the D-Day Landings last for over a month in Normandy and the emotion, gratitude and love shown to the veterans is mind blowing. you simply have to come here to witness this for yourself...

they are a great, biker friendly cafe and there's pretty much always bikes to see at the weekends... especially in good weather!

The Kawasaki Z1000sx in full touring set up was incredible. Two up and full luggage, it performed superbly. We used the amazing Interfone F5MC intercoms for our trip which gave superb battery life, good comms at speeds under 60mph ( I also wear ear plugs) so they did well - check out the intercoms in the link below...
