World's oldest captive panda dies aged 37 in E China

The world's oldest captive panda passed away at the age of 37, equivalent to more than 100 human years, on Wednesday in east China's Fujian. Basi, born in 1980, is possibly the most famous panda in China. In 1990, she was chosen as the model for Pan Pan, the mascot of the Beijing Asian Games.
