My second Improv drumming video; it was a ton of fun. Covering songs is awesome but sometimes I just want to play what I feel like and express my musical creativity. I essentially stuck to one major fill for the whole video, but I variated it with a bunch of cool beats and tom/double bass work. NEW CYMBAL - Zildjian ZXT 14" Trashformer cymbal. I'm loving this new addition to my set; the sound is kind of like a mix between a china and a splash. I used my Mapex piccolo snare for this video because my bottom snare head broke. Hopefully I'll be recording some more drum covers this weekend depending on my schedule. Audio recorded using my Presonus Studiolive 16.0.2 mixer and edited on Garageband. Video captured using 3 different camera angles and edited on iMovie. Thanks for watching, like and subscribe!
