Talking about theatre acting, Lucky Gupta flatly declares his distrust in the notion of technique. He cites examples from his own performances, engaging and involving the audience in the course, where the reactions are born out of the lived experience of the moment. Lucky feels that the kids present the best example of this ‘non’-technique. They are spontaneous by nature and thus responsive to the particular moment of experience. At best, he can label his form as a ‘theatre of experience’.
