For 13 years, Fenton resident Dave Witkop, 26, struggled with addiction, first to alcohol and then eventually to crack cocaine and heroin. He has been clean since Oct. 17, 2016, and in late September was looking forward to marking his first full year of sobriety in a long time. "Homelessness: I've been there. I've done that," he said. "Streets of Flint: I’ve been there. County jail, prison: I’ve done that." (Video produced by Terray Sylvester | MLive.com)
