We’ve got a problem, bro.
A new study found that the portrayal of women in country music is more sexist than ever. Researchers analyzed the lyrics of hits from the past 30 years and discovered an increase in songs that mention females’ physical appearance and tight clothes, compare them to inanimate objects and call them “baby” and “honey.”
