NDTV-Fortis #MoreToGive Organ Donation Walkathon in its Mumbai leg had both living donors and organ recipients participating in the 3.1 km walk and lend their support to the organ donation cause. Jaya, who received a kidney eight and a half years ago and Ashish who got a kidney from his wife now lead a healthy life. Talking about her experience, Jaya said, "I am alive today because somebody donated a kidney to me. I got a second chance to live and it is priceless." While recipients and living donors shared their side of the story, Dr. Haresh Dodeja, Consultant Neurologist from Fortis, talked about the challenges and care to be taken post an organ transplant.
