Mr. Templeton, Mr. Tapp, Herr Sellmeier and Herr Liermann enjoying the Happy Hour at the IXOS IXteria in 2005. That was a long tradition which started in 1988 wenn the company was founded. The Happy Hour took place every Wednesday after work. The company catered food and snacks and beverages including Beer, Wine, sometimes Champaign and a small variety of booze. It was often the only place where coworkers from Support, Services, Sales, R&D and other departments met in person. It was also a place where we exchanged ideas about projects and possible solutions. I think that some of the best product ideas started here. Unfortunately this all stopped after IXOS got acquired. The communicated reason was because not all sites could have this kind of Happy Hour. Therefore it had to stop.
